Hypothetical Example No. 2. Richard invents a novel bacterium with the sole utility of poisoning public water supplies. He is required to delete information about such a composition of matter from an international patent application.
Hypothetical Example No. 3. Buckminster invents a credible cure for AIDS. His international patent application is allowed to contain information about the cure.
