Examples - Atomic Weapon

General. The following hypothetical examples teach this concept:

Hypothetical Example No. 1. Margaret invents a novel device that is useful solely in the utilization of plutonium in an atomic weapon. She is denied a patent on the device by the USPTO.

Hypothetical Example No. 2. Benjamin invents a novel process for using atomic energy for propelling an atomic weapon. He is granted a patent on the process by the USPTO.

Hypothetical Example No. 3. Andrea invents a novel article that is useful in the utilization of uranium enriched in the isotope 233 both in an atomic weapon and in a conventional weapon. He is granted a U.S. patent.
