Providing an appropriate invention title is important for several reasons. Every patent application must begin with a descriptive title of the invention. In some cases, the invention title is the only description of the invention that is initially available to those conducting patent searches. At a minimum, the title should be sufficiently descriptive and interesting to motivate the searcher to view the abstract of the disclosure.
